Conferences

CRSA plans
to organise four conferences a year, one each quarter. these will be
held in various venues, initially in Sydney in 2001, the first in February
and the second in May to coincide with AATF
2001. Local and overseas industry opinion leaders, will be invited
as guest speakers.
![]() The February conference features Glen Pattison, a stress management specialist with two books on the subject to his name. Glen has worked with major corporations around Australia and overseas as well as Olympic Games athletes and associated companies. Jeff Hendler from the USA is our guest speaker at our May conference and a participant in the CRSA conference. Apart from his other credentials Jeff will provide valuable input into CRSA as he has run similar operations in the USA for many years. ![]() Each conference will address industry concerns and will provide a forum to network with fellow collision repair specialists from around Australia and mix with many companies supplying products and services to the market. The conferences will be professionally produced and structured according to the CRSA code of conduct which all participants sign on registration. There will be a small fee payable at each conference to cover administration costs. |

monthly newsletters containing both national and international industry
information, upcoming events, new products and services and a CRSA notice
board for participants' networking. Quarterly mailings to all participants will include industry information pertinent to the operation of collision repair facilities. |

offered to all participants and further information will be available
in the newsletters and mailings. Suppliers of goods and / or services will be encouraged to become CRSA participants with one representative invited to attend quarterly conferences. |

NACE
Visit |
This is a unique
opportunity for CRSA participants to make an annual business trip to the
International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) held each December
in the US. The tour will be organised and arranged by David Newton-Ross who has had many years experience in organising such trips. He is also well known in the US collision repair industry and has received several awards from their organisations and associations in recognition of his services. NACE is the largest show for collision repair in the world, Delegates will attend seminars and workshops and mix with the best operators in the USA, plus have the opportunity to visit collision repair facilities in the USA. This all inclusive tour is available exclusively to CRSA participants and not to the industry in general. |
